Snart öppnar höstens designmässa i London. En av utställarna är Original Little Bird. Bakom märket står Gabi Bolton, som gör textiltryck med lekfulla, mystiska, sagolika motiv, med en blinkning åt förra sekelskiftets brittiska Arts & Crafts rörelse. Hennes textilier har dykt upp i flera av de stora internationella inredningstidningarna det senaste året. Inte så konstigt, när man ser hennes genomarbetade tryck. Me like.
Love these beautiful original designs by brit designer Gabi Bolton for wallpaper and printed linen. This is how she describes her work on her website:
"Natural and mythological landscapes, folklore, motifs from circuses and the fairground are all present in her work, together with references to textiles, architecture and the decorative arts. Her current preoccupation with the visual and literary expression of the pastoral idyll has led her to start creating pieces that explore Arcadia. Gabi's designs appear to offer alternative options for escapism and the promise of an unconventional utopia and something of the world of the outsider."
Textilierna är också utmärkta att använda om du vill klä om en gammal sliten resväska!
Eller som duk. Och till kuddfodral. Naturligtvis.
