The talented Swedish designer Ylva Skarp's home is featured in the current issue of Plaza Interiör. Here are a few of the pics that didn't make the cut. I just love the clever division of the large living room, where Ylva has created a semi enclosed space, decorated with comfy seating opposite the television, as seen below:
Ylva Skarp is a designer who works with paper, clay and textiles. And she is a well known calligrapher. More examples of her writing below:
Ylva Skarp writing is printed on carpets, pillows, lampshades and art prints. Considering the name of this blog, I'm very tempted to buy the print below... Check out more prints etc on her webshop here.
Love the mix of old and new in this home. Love the grey and white walls, the wooden floors and the yellow ochre doors, like the ones below.
